For me, cakes have always been terrifying. All the cakes on Pinterest are so picture-perfect that for the longest time I never even stopped to look. But then I started studying it and watching hours of videos. Let me tell you if you like to bake and are not afraid of making something that is delicious, but sometimes a little odd-looking, join me on my adventure in cake baking.

We all think cupcakes are pretty much a no brainer, right? But then you look at all the intricate frosting styles and decorating elements and you think, “Nope. It’s not going to happen.” Trust me. Anyone can master just one of those fancy-schmancy frosting techniques. And when you do, BAM! You’re in. Now all you have to do it try and keep track of all the interesting flavor options we are going try.
